    GLEANING:
Crooked Run Farm in Purcellville has apples that need to be gleaned.  Gleaned apples can be
donated to Loudoun Interfaith Relief.  Contact Crooked Run directly to schedule gleaning.

    SHELTERS:
Loudoun Emergency Homeless Shelter is a program shelter in Leesburg that offers temporary
housing for the homeless.  This shelter is run by Volunteers of America.  The link below provides more
information about what they do, how they work and their immediate needs.

Loudoun Transitional Housing is offers a variety of long-term services designed to help homeless
women and children into self sufficiency. This is also run by Volunteers of America.  The link below

Community Feeding Program:  The Salvation Army of Loudoun is coordinating a community meal
program to serve low income and homeless persons.  They will distribute meals from a mobile canteen
at two locations each Saturday, with the goal of expanding the program to Sundays and other dates in
the future.

If you are interested in providing food or helping to serve the meals, please contact Debbie Appleton of
