Excited about the program but not ready to dive in yet?  Sample the
program with our Taste of KWP and choose three supplements that
    address needs in your community.

A Taste of KWP serves two purposes:

Allows churches or other organizations to discover how the Kids With
    Purpose program works.

Each supplement addresses a different need in your community.  It
contains the Director’s and Leaders’ instructions in one comprehensive
guide.  All age groups (3 yrs through 5th grade) are included.
Supplement weeks are representative of weeks in the existing KWP
    Foundation program.

Enables current churches to build Year 2 using their existing KWP
    Foundation program.

How do I incorporate supplements into my existing KWP Foundation
    program?

Year 1 has established strong relationships and built ties to people and
organizations within your community.  Naturally, your passion will lead
you to continue your support of certain populations in need.

Combining your Maintenance Mission Weeks as well as those you are
passionate about will serve as the basic structure for building Year 2.
Then choose supplements to add variety and to increase awareness of
    other community needs.

Be a Friend to All God's Children:  Support Children with
Intellectual Disabilities
Jesus wants all children to know Him.  Every child is a valuable person who is
loved by God.  Often kids find children with intellectual disabilities different but with
understanding kids can become more sensitive, patient, compassionate,
accepting and empathetic.  Once kids know that not every child is the same and
that we are all unique; they become more willing to be a friend and buddy.  They
learn that the greatest help they can be is to
simply be their friend!

Participate in Food Recovery
Millions of people are at risk for hunger in the United States and half of them are
children.  Food is an abundant resource in most communities.  By becoming aware
of how to redistribute the food available, we can help feed those who are hungry in
our communities.  Help your kids to be a part of the solution to end hunger.

Support Disaster Relief
When disaster strikes, your children's mission group can respond immediately.
There is much devastation in the wake of a natural disaster.  There are many
opportunities and ways to help.  Let us do as God commands us and be strong
and courageous and help where we can.

Support Our Military
US Military personnel undertake an awesome job and responsibility everyday to
protect the United States.  It is important to remember active military personnel,
veterans as well as military families.  Involve your kids in showing their support and
appreciation for all people who are a part of the military.

Support Literacy:  Help Others Read the Word
Illiteracy is viewed by many as one of the greatest threats to our children’s future.
Approximately one in 20 adults in the US lack the reading and writing skills to
handle many everyday tasks, both at home and in the workplace.  The ability to read
and write empowers people to make positive choices and provide for themselves
and their families.  Help provide opportunities for others to read.
